Aloe Vera contains a new anti-inflammatory agent identified as a C-Glucosyl Chromone viz.8 – ( C-beta-D (2-0-(E)-cinnamoyl ) glucopyranosyl-2 -2-hydroxypropyl – 7 methoxy -5- methyl chromone.
