- Ginger is known for its spasmolytic properties. It can prevent the acetylcholine-evoked and electrically-induced smooth muscle contractions. Ginger contains gingerol. This inhibits the biosynthesis of lipid compounds which ultimately reduces pain. Ginger also has anti-inflammatory properties which manage pain and discomfort caused by inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.

- Adults should be given 2 tablets in a day when suffering from acute pain. Else 1 tablet in a day.
- Children and old people should be given 1 capsule in a day when suffering from acute pain. It can be taken 3 times in 24 hours in case of acute pain.
- To reduce menstrual cramps, 1-2 tablets can be given. The capsules should be given 2 times in a day. It should be given only till the menstrual cycle lasts.
- For irritable bowel syndrome, 1-2 tablets should be given. It should be given 2 times in a day. Continue the dose till 4-6 weeks.
